What is MyWanderings?

MyWanderings is a travel advising service that helps you plan trips with confidence. I handle the research, bookings, and logistics so you don’t have to. Whether it’s a quick getaway or a complex itinerary, I work with you to make sure the details are covered and the experience fits your goals. While I don’t book flights directly, I’m happy to help you find good options and make sure they fit smoothly into your overall plan.

Do you charge for your services?

Most of the time, no. I’m compensated by travel suppliers when I book commissionable elements like cruises, hotels, tours, or travel insurance. However, if your trip involves a complex itinerary with many moving parts or includes non-commissionable bookings like Airbnbs or restaurants, I may apply a modest planning fee. This helps cover the time and detail involved in coordinating your trip. I’ll always let you know up front if a fee applies.

Will I pay more by booking through you?

Not at all. In fact, I often secure exclusive perks, upgrades, and added value through my agency affiliations—benefits you might not get booking on your own.

What if something goes wrong during my trip?

I’m your advocate throughout the journey. While I’m not available 24/7, I do my best to respond promptly—especially in urgent situations. Whether it’s a last-minute change, a missed connection, or a long hold with a cruise line, I’m here to help navigate challenges so you don’t have to face them alone.

Are you part of a larger travel company?

I’m an independent travel advisor operating under my own brand, MyWanderings. I’ve partnered with Fora Travel, a modern host agency that provides access to trusted suppliers, exclusive perks, and industry affiliations. Through Fora, I’m also connected to Virtuoso, a leading travel consortium known for its global network and elevated travel experiences.

While I book travel through Fora’s platform and use a fora.travel email address, all planning, communication, and service comes directly from me.
