Wander With Me:

About Robin

After decades exploring continents and cultures—and recently retiring from a fulfilling career in logistics—I’ve turned my passion into a profession.

I’ve always enjoyed planning a trip—almost as much as taking it. For me, it’s like solving a puzzle where every piece needs to fit. I dig into destination research, whether I’ve been there before or not, and use my logistics and project management background to make sure the details come together smoothly.

My love for travel runs deep. From childhood flying standby with my sister and mom, to spending four years as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Africa. That experience led me to start a blog to share updates with friends and family half a world away. Today, that blog has evolved into this travel website, where you’ll find archived posts from my Peace Corps days alongside new reflections and practical tips from recent wanderings.

Much of my travel has been solo, which has shaped how I approach new destinations—with curiosity, flexibility, and a strong sense of independence. I also have a particular passion for cruise travel, and love helping clients navigate the many options available—from ocean to river, luxury to expedition. These areas are specialties of mine, but they’re just part of the picture.

Whether you're planning a solo escape, a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a group trip, I tailor each itinerary to your travel style, budget, and dreams. With personal travel to 57 countries and counting, plus a career in logistics, I bring both experience and precision to every trip I plan.

I’ve partnered with Fora Travel as an independent Travel Advisor. This gives me access to a wide network of support, trusted suppliers, and exclusive perks I can pass along to my clients.

My travel mantra: “Life is short and the world is wide. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
